These Custom Wig Terms & Conditions apply to all customised, made-to-order and bespoke wigs purchased from Wow Glama.

By placing an order for a custom wig, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms.

These terms do not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable UK consumer law.

1. What Is a Custom Wig?

A custom wig is a wig prepared specifically according to the specifications selected or provided by the customer.

Depending on the service selected, customisation may include:

• Wig size

• Hair type

• Hair length

• Hair colour

• Density

• Lace type

• Lace size

• Parting

• Hairline

• Baby hairs

• Curl or wave pattern

• Styling

• Bleaching or colouring

• Cutting

• Other personalised requirements

Because each wig is prepared according to individual requirements, processing times may be longer than for standard ready-to-ship products.

2. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for carefully checking their selected specifications before placing an order.

This includes checking:

• Head/wig size

• Hair length

• Density

• Colour

• Lace size

• Lace type

• Curl pattern

• Parting

• Styling preferences

• Any measurements or information supplied to Wow Glama

If you provide measurements, photographs or other information, you are responsible for ensuring that the information is accurate and suitable for the requested service.

3. Wig Size & Measurements

Where a customer selects a specific wig size or provides measurements, Wow Glama will use the information provided to prepare the wig.

Please be aware that head shapes and measurements vary between individuals.

A wig may require adjustment after delivery to achieve the customer's preferred fit.

Where a customer has supplied incorrect measurements or selected the wrong size, Wow Glama may not be responsible for the resulting fit.

4. Hair Density

Hair density refers to the amount of hair used to create the wig.

The appearance of a particular density can vary depending on:

• Hair texture

• Hair length

• Hair type

• Curl pattern

• Lace size

• Styling

• Individual hair characteristics

For this reason, density should be considered an approximate specification rather than an exact visual result.

5. Hair Colour

Customers should carefully review colour selections before placing an order.

Colour displayed on a computer, tablet or mobile device may appear slightly different from the actual hair colour because of screen settings, lighting and photography.

Where a customer requests a custom colour, the final result may vary slightly from a reference photograph.

6. Lace & Hairline Customisation

Where lace customisation, bleaching, plucking or hairline work is requested, the final appearance may vary depending on the original lace and hair used.

Lace is delicate and may be affected by excessive bleaching, colouring, plucking or handling.

Wow Glama will take reasonable care when carrying out these services.

7. Customer-Supplied Hair or Lace

If a customer supplies hair, lace, a wig or other materials for customisation, Wow Glama cannot guarantee the quality, condition or suitability of those materials.

We are not responsible for pre-existing:

• Shedding

• Tangling

• Matting

• Chemical damage

• Weak lace

• Discolouration

• Breakage

• Poor construction

• Previous alterations

If we determine that supplied materials are unsuitable for the requested work, we may contact the customer before proceeding or recommend an alternative.

8. Processing Times

Custom wigs require additional time for preparation and construction.

Estimated processing times will be stated on the relevant product or communicated to the customer before purchase.

Processing time is separate from delivery time.

During busy periods, product launches, promotions or periods of unusually high demand, processing times may be longer.

Where a significant delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate this to the customer.

9. Changes After Ordering

Once production has started, changes to a custom wig may not be possible.

If a customer requests a change after production has started, additional charges may apply depending on the materials and labour already used.

Changes may also result in additional processing time.

Wow Glama cannot guarantee that requested changes can be accommodated after production has begun.

10. Cancellation of Custom Orders

Because custom wigs are made according to individual customer specifications, cancellation rights may differ from those applying to standard products.

Where production has not begun, we will consider cancellation requests in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the order.

Once production has begun, the right to cancel may be restricted where the law permits, particularly where the wig has been made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised.

Nothing in these terms removes any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Returns & Exchanges

Custom wigs are generally not eligible for a change-of-mind return where they have been made specifically according to the customer's specifications, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

A custom wig may be eligible for a remedy where it is:

• Faulty

• Not as described

• Incorrectly made

• Significantly different from the agreed specifications

• Otherwise not in conformity with the contract

If you believe there is a problem with your custom wig, contact us as soon as possible.

12. Inspect Your Wig Before Wearing

Please inspect your custom wig carefully as soon as you receive it.

Do not cut, colour, bleach, wash, install or otherwise alter the wig if you believe there is a problem with it.

Once the wig has been altered or worn, it may be more difficult to determine whether an issue existed before use.

If you believe your wig is incorrect or faulty, contact us before making any alterations.

13. Customer-Requested Colouring & Chemical Services

Where you request colouring, bleaching or other chemical processing, the final result can be affected by the original hair condition, previous chemical treatment and hair type.

Wow Glama will take reasonable care when carrying out the requested service.

However, colour results cannot always be guaranteed to exactly match a reference photograph.

Customers should understand that chemical processing can affect hair condition, texture, longevity and shedding.

14. Heat Styling

Where a wig or hair product is described as heat-friendly or heat-safe, customers must follow the manufacturer's or Wow Glama's recommended temperature limits.

Always test heat on a small section before applying heat to the entire wig.

Damage caused by excessive heat, incorrect equipment or failure to follow care instructions may not be covered.

15. Natural Variations

Hair is not completely uniform.

Minor variations in:

• Strand thickness

• Curl pattern

• Texture

• Density

• Colour

• Shedding

• Hair direction

may occur.

These natural or manufacturing variations do not automatically constitute a defect.

16. Photographs & Reference Images

If you provide a photograph as a reference, we will use reasonable efforts to achieve the requested look.

However, an exact replica cannot always be guaranteed.

Results can differ due to:

• Hair type

• Hair density

• Lace

• Length

• Colour

• Head shape

• Styling technique

• Lighting

• Photography and editing

17. Deposits & Payments

Where a deposit is required, the amount and payment terms will be communicated before the order or booking is confirmed.

A deposit may be non-refundable where this has been clearly stated and where permitted by applicable law.

The remaining balance, where applicable, must be paid according to the agreed payment terms before the wig is dispatched or released to the customer.

18. Collection of Custom Wigs

Where a customer chooses collection, the customer will be notified when the wig is ready.

Customers should inspect the wig at collection where reasonably possible and raise any immediate concerns with Wow Glama.

Customers must provide appropriate identification or order information where required to collect an order.

19. Delivery

Once a custom wig has completed production, it will be dispatched according to the delivery option selected by the customer.

Delivery times are separate from production times.

20. Wig Care

Customers are responsible for following the recommended care instructions provided with their wig.

Proper care can help maintain the appearance, texture and longevity of the wig.

Wow Glama cannot guarantee the lifespan of a wig where it has been improperly maintained, excessively manipulated or exposed to products or treatments that are unsuitable for the hair.

21. Customer Satisfaction

We aim to create every custom wig according to the specifications agreed with the customer.

If you are unhappy with an aspect of your custom wig, please contact us promptly so that we can understand the issue and determine whether it can be resolved.

Where an issue is covered by your statutory rights, we will provide the appropriate remedy required by law.

22. Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Custom Wig Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Where a custom wig is faulty, misdescribed or does not conform to the agreed contract, you may have legal rights to an appropriate remedy.
